金卡網站發布之後(川普金卡上線！)，有朋友發了一張推文截圖，很能說明問題：



就像孵化恐龍蛋，你明知不可能，但是就還是想看。這完美地說出了我的想法。不知道，大多數人的心態是否如此。

前段時間，Bloomberg發了篇，金卡陰影下的EB-5計劃：



其中就談到IIUSA的態度：

“Aaron L. Grau, executive director of Invest in the USA, an EB-5 trade association, said the dual programs wouldn’t overlap—but discussions around the importance of immigrant investment have been encouraging. ‘The Gold Card is deficit reduction. The EB-5 program is economic development and job creation. ’The Gold Card is deficit reduction. The EB-5 program is economic development and job creation.”

不敢反對川普，所以鼓掌支持金卡計劃，但是希望能夠保留EB-5，並且強調：金卡是削減赤字的計劃，EB-5是促進經濟發展和創造就業的計劃。兩者並行不悖。

金卡上線之後，IIUSA也專門發文，再次強調了這一態度：



而且IIUSA，專門出了一份2016年-2019年，EB-5計劃給美國帶來的就業和經濟貢獻的報告：
